SuperGrid Landholder Payment Framework Overview
We are committed to engaging with landholders in a fair, transparent and equitable way.
Aware that community sentiments are changing regarding payments, we commenced a review of our approach in October 2022 to investigate potential improvements.
Guided by insights and input from diverse stakeholder groups we developed a new payment framework that aims to provide more clarity and flexibility for landholders.
In an Australia first, the new framework also offers a payment to landholders with properties adjacent to new transmission easements.
The purpose of this overview is to provide the community with information on Powerlink’s payment framework for adequately paying hosting and adjacent landholders should an easement be required as part of developing new transmission lines.
