Together with our UGL CPB Contractors Joint Venture, Powerlink are delivering CopperString 2032, the largest ever regional development project in North and North West Queensland.

CopperString 2032 will support more than 800 direct construction jobs (up to 2029) and hundreds more indirect jobs.

The energy industry is evolving rapidly. We’re gearing up for an even brighter future and working at the heart of Queensland’s energy transformation means you’ll be at the forefront of change.

Now more than ever, we need more people to join the team.

A team who loves to support and share their knowledge with each other. A team dedicated to the communities we serve. For our team, what really matters is a deep sense of purpose.

Some of the opportunities the CopperString 2032 project will be recruiting into include: Engineers, substation technicians, powerline workers, project managers, labourers, plant operators, technology experts, business and data analysts and professionals in communications, human resources, corporate services, finance, property, fleet, IT, and corporate governance and training.
