Civil Engineering Graduates

To complete the graduate program all Civil graduates are required to complete a mandatory 3 rotations for a minimum of 1 year each across all 3 core areas, being Field, Design & Delivery.

Do I get to choose my rotations?

Graduates are rotated in blocks or groups through their four core areas. This allows for the maximum amount of opportunity, with reduced competitiveness for teams.

Graduates starting in the same year may commence in different blocks - for example one group may start in Delivery, whilst another group may start in Systems.

Within the block rotations, i.e. Systems, there will be a range of teams that graduates can provide our Early Career Advisors their preference for. This is taken into consideration with business capacity with the final approval being given by our Graduate Committee. Graduates must still complete rotations across all core areas.

Graduates nominate for elective rotations across all teams in their third year, provided all core areas have been completed.

How much travel will I need to do?

Travel requirements may be required and will be dependent on your current rotation.

What flexible work options are available?
