Construction has begun on the new Wallumbilla Rural Fire Brigade and State Emergency Service Emergency Coordination Centre. The shed structure is almost completed with interior work commencing soon. Fergus, Secretary and Treasurer of the Joint Emergency Services, says the purpose-built centre is a milestone that will see the units’ equipment under one roof for the first time. We are pleased to support this volunteer-based organisation to build a vital service for the Maranoa region in rural Queensland.

The site was cleared by local contractors that volunteered their time.
