Overview
Powerlink was engaged by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) to connect the Clare Solar Farm to the transmission network. The 100MW solar farm is Queensland’s largest, located 35km south-west of Ayr and connects to the existing Clare South Substation.
Status
Powerlink’s grid connection works are complete and Clare Solar Farm is now exporting renewable energy to the electricity grid.
