Overview
Powerlink was engaged to connect Lightsource BP’s Woolooga Energy Park Solar Farm to the existing Woolooga Substation. The 176MW solar farm is located in Lower Wonga and is expected to generate energy to power around 71,330 homes. The project involved building a new substation bay and associated connection activities.
Status
Construction works for the connection project and were completed during 2021. Final commissioning works are expected during 2023 (weather dependent).
